This practice is a hybrid of dance, sculpture and my work as an itinerate gardener.
I consider my body as a tool, object, and entangled material with the earth.
I explore the ways movement can be shaped and scored by sticks, seeds, stones and other vital materials over time.
My performances take place in many different sites from landfills to city intersections to antenna farms to suburban gardens.
The duration and outcome of this work is always adapting and shifting in response to the place and time.
It reflects the uncertain and off-kilter connection I find between my body and the earth.
